In other news, things have been fairly quiet so far in 2006 but plans are underway for what we hope will be an interesing event later in the year. Details will follow!

As some of you will know, The Overside are currently in the studio recording their debut album which will be released through Fretless Records later in the year. The band went north last week to Unity Recording Studios near Nairn and will be there until the 20th of June.

Since 'An Evening with The Overside' at The Queen's Hall in January, the band has gained a new member. Violinist Simon Graham who played at the concert is now a permanent feature in the band's line up. For the recording of the album, 3 backing vocalists - Sarah France, Vikki Merrick and Rachel Morrison - have also been added.
